Just recently got my machine and ive steamed milk only a handful of times so far. Today i goofed and forgot to stop the steam wand before removing the cup and this happened lol. Thought yall might get a chuckle out of this.

Did you start the steamer before you went to the store and bought milk?

You have to put it in the jug not just throw it at the machine. Took me a month to realize that, not one tells you this stuff
The steam on that thing takes forever to die down. Did you pull out too soon?
BathroomBrewsMTG
I did the same thing! Glad I’m not alone.

I fill the milk up to the first line on the little mug it comes with and then run it. I’ve had this happen a couple times forgetting that you do not need much milk lol

Espresso machine accidents like these tend to be (look) so dramatic. And then 2 months down the line you’re cleaning something and find a speck of ground coffee/milk under a crevice and you remember your last mess.
GTXMittens
Heat steam unstill steam comes out. Turn off. Dunk wand. Turn steam back on. Boom. No mess 😎

I swear this usually never happens. It was just really hot
